Women Build 2021 brought over 200 volunteers to the build site and raised over $25,000 towards materials for the house. Even better, we had fun! Our new owner, Sarah, looks forward to moving into her new home very soon.
Many of our volunteers attended as part of enthusiastic work groups from local organizations including Dominion Energy, Herlong Architects, Hometeam BBQ, JILCO Kitchen and Bath, LaFond Law, State Farm Insurance, and Seamon Whiteside. Others brought friends and family. All shifts were full before the build started!
