The Brown Family
Doreitha Brown has lived on Johns Island all her life, her husband Robert has been on the island for 30 years – they love it here and are thrilled to be moving into the Brownswood neighborhood.
Doreitha has been a Pharmacy Technician at CVS for eight years. She loves the variety of her job – some work with computers, and coming into contact with a variety of people.
Robert is a heavy construction operator with Truluck Construction. He also enjoys the variety of people he meets through work, and likes going to different sites.
Doreitha and Robert’s grandsons, Jayden and Jamari, currently live with them. Jayden is 5 years old and will start kindergarten at Angel Oak Elementary School in the fall. He loves transformers and spends hours playing with them. Jamari is 2 years old – he’s an energetic and lively child who loves to sing.
Although the Browns work full time, they are also quite involved with their church – LRP Ministry. When they have the opportunity, they also enjoy going out to the movies, or going out to eat.
They are a couple that exude positive energy and are very excited about moving into a “Well built home, that’s safe, in a really nice neighborhood.” We welcome Doreitha, Robert, Jayden and Jamari to our Habitat family!
