New SIHH homeowners

We are excited to have selected a wonderful Habitat partner family for the FAITH IN ACTION house.

Ida Mae Moore, her son Bryan, daughter Shamekia Graham, and grandson Hayden, are putting in their sweat equity hours and look forward to closing on their beautiful new home in the end of September!

Ida Mae works at Roper Hospital in Environmental Services, and has been there for 16 years.  She loves cooking, doing laundry and caring for her family.  Ida Mae’s son Bryan is a senior at West Ashley High School.  He stays busy as a student, a member of the high school football and basketball teams.  He also loves computers and video games.

Shamekia Graham, Ida Mae’s daughter, is a student at Strayer University studying Business Administration.  She is very involved with her church, the New Bethel AME in West Ashley, where she serves as the Youth Program Department Director and also is the Vice President of the Women’s Missionary Society.  Her son, Hayden, is five years old and just began kindergarten at Oakland Elementary School.  He loves singing and listening to music, and found it easy to make new friends at school!
